HOW IT WORKS
From MoU to L0-L4 certificate

MoU + cohort intake
Co-author internship MoU over 2-3 weeks: student count, duration (1-2 semesters), target majors (Informatics, STEM Education, Computer Systems, etc), credit transfer scope.

14-day onboarding
Trainees onboard via a 14-task checklist (technical + soft skills). Pass → promoted to L0 → eligible as Assistant on Band-A classes. Fail → mentoring + retry slot.

Teaching + level progression
Start as L1 Assistant on real classes (first 1-2 classes). After X sessions + good assessments, promote to L2 Lead for Band A. Hourly rate increases. L3 for Band B/C, L4 senior multi-channel.

Graduation + certificate
End of internship: portfolio (sessions taught, students served, composite scores graded, level achieved). L0-L4 certificate from xKyro + formal report to campus. Optional: continued recruitment.

What campuses often ask
How is this different from a typical internship?
Real teaching, real compensation per session, with level progression + an L0-L4 certificate valid for the EdTech job market. Not an administrative rotation or "observer only." Students truly teach real classes from day one after onboarding.
What is student compensation?
Per-role hourly rate that scales by level from L0 to L4 (final rate set per MoU). Paid per session actually taught (not a flat allowance). Range negotiable per cohort.
What is the minimum internship duration?
1 semester (16-20 weeks) for an L0 certificate + assistant experience. 2 semesters to reach L2 Lead. Serious students can continue to L3-L4 within 3-4 semesters.
Is there any commitment to continue after the internship?
No. Optionally, students can join as permanent or freelance instructors after the internship ends. Or use the L0-L4 certificate to apply elsewhere (EdTech roles, founding an education startup, postgraduate study, etc).
Which courses can this be credited toward?
Industry internship (most majors), professional practice (Education), informatics or electronics electives. Credit policy + SKS unit count is determined by the campus. xKyro provides an official report + supporting documentation for credit claims.
How are students selected?
Campus pre-screening (minimum skill: Python or basic JavaScript, minimum campus GPA, semester 4+). xKyro confirms via interview + technical screening (problem-solving, attitude, soft skills). Final selection based on fit + capacity.
How does the campus evaluate progress?
Monthly per-student report (sessions taught, level achieved, composite scores graded, feedback from parents + students). Campus dashboard access for live data — academic advisors can view progress anytime.
Does xKyro support joint research / R&D?
Yes. Relevant topics: classroom AI applications, gamification learning, learning analytics, locally-contextualized robotics (mBot adaptations for Indonesian curriculum). Discuss case-by-case with the relevant major. Potential joint papers + grant funding.
